    Ls1 T56!!!

I have decided to swap the 4L80 for a T56. Are there any web sites that specialize in used camaro parts and/or any salvage yards in or around Houston that I can find one.

I tried LKQ and they want at least 1500 for one(just the trans)....I even tried looking on car-part.com and the prices are high.

I would like to find one with a flywheel, clutch, shifter, and hydraulics for around 1200

Any help would be appreciated. I would be willing to drive to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio if any of you guys from there know of a place or have one personally.

    Ebay , craigslist, ls1tech.com

Got mine off Ebay. Called the dude before auction ended, made cash offer and he closed the auction early and drove to Dallas the next day from Austin. 76k miles, 2002 TransAm, slave, driveshaft, and Exedy twin clutch for less than a grand. Sold clutch online and it payed for NIB LS7 clutch/flywheel. Keep looking, the deals are out there....

Well I did find one on Craigslist that I bought for 1200. complete clutch with flywheel, slave and master cylinder, came with a b&m shifter too

Going to be installing new clutch, slave and master cylinder and using a diff. shifter though.

Im so anxious to get it going again.
