Thread: LQ4 intake question

    LQ4 intake question

    In the middle of the manifold on top there is a plastic tube with a green cap on front what is that? I'm gonna run mine without emissions and want to know what I can pull off my intake. Thanks. Oh its a 04 lq4.

    PLastic tube with green top is evap crap.

    if your talking about the thing directly behind throttal body with a plastic tube comeing off of it and a wire running to it its the purge valve for the vaccume canister, just can the whole thing and you can get a rubber oil plug kind of made like the rubber expansion plugs only its 1/2 inch I got mine at orilyes

    No thats not what i'm talking about that i know thats for the evap stuff. I'm talking about the barbed tube right behind that evap stuff. I'm guessing it's pcv but i'm not positive on that.
