    how much room do you have between the passenger head and the fire wall?

    No not my home shop.. *L* I am a mechanic in the U.S. Coast Guard and that is the shop I have access to so i just leave my truck in it and can work on it pretty much anytime.

    Sweet ride man im doing the same swap except with a 5.7 into an 86 stepside, I got a buddy i went to school with thats in the Coast Guard stationed in Mobile, Alabama

    I have not given up.. Just still in Knoxville Tn. got 2 more weeks till I got back home, But I did get the wiring harness off to be rebuilt, the computer is having codes deleted out, I ordered my fuel pump and Aeroquip fuel line connectors, having all Braided Stainless Steel fuel line made.

    hey i sent my harness and computer off to.. but what fuel pump did u go with? and who and where r u getting ur fuel lines from/made?

    I am having mine made locally, we (Coast Guard) have all out 3 4 and 6 inch lines built by them so there hooking me up. I dident want to deal with building my own so i am just gonna pay they to build complete lines. I ordered my pump off line ebay E3270 Airtex for about 25 dollars. But I just learned there is a in line pump that will work. umm here Walbro makes a 255lph inline pump. that might be an easyer way to go. I think i might buy one just to have it.

    you live in Mobile? I'm pretty close in Cantonment, FL. I am in Mobile all the time, even do some work at atsc and the one off tanner williams? road?
