    Z71 Gear swap

I have a 2003 Avalanche Z71 with 373 gears and I am thinking of going to 410. Is there any threads on swapping the gears for 4X4 applications?

That's a lot of time/expense/effort for so little change in gear ratio, especially on two axles. What size tires are you running or ever planning to run, and do you tow a lot and/or drive a lot of highway miles?

Only 33's. Thanks for the input. I guess it really isn't worth the change. I see quite a few people go from 373's to 410's and was thinking the same but I guess not now.

With 33's, I think it would be worth the hassle to swap in 4.10's or 4.30's. Plus, if your rear end is stock then you can upgrade the carrier with one that can actually take some abuse.
