    I would assume that the colder is not always better since the fluid does not move as well under colder situations and may not provide adequate lubrication. While I agree with this to an extent, it is definitely better than running hotter, IMO. On average, my trans temps stay in the 140-160 range.

    Too cold, and the fluid may not get too all the places it has to get to.
