The heads on an LS2 are actually LS6 heads FYI. Most people don't actually know all the difference in the LS lineup. I have a book that breaks it all down.

are you 100% sure about that there buddy? LS6 heads have different valves that are sodium filled and longer then standard 2.0 valves which are found in the LS4/LS2/4.8/5.3 heads.

Yeah I'm 100% sure about that big buddy. I didn't say anything about valves did I? The casting is an LS6...he even said they are 243 castings...that's the same thing they put on the LS2 motors.

sorry bud your info is little incorrect. Ls6 heads have the sodium longer valves, all other 243s have standard valves which come on the 4.8/5.3/5.3HO/LS4/LS2. So before you ramble off make sure you have your facts straight there buddy. Just cause its a 243 casting doesnt garrenty its a LS6 head
