Hey guys, I'm a new member. I'm a mechanical engineer at at machine shop by day. My time doesn't allow for a lot of hobbies, but I love my truck 2004 GMC Z71 SLE, my dream project is to build a '57 crew cab Chevrolet with all the modern conveniences (A/C, FI, Radio, PW, PDL, and most importantly CUPHOLDERS!!!) The power for the project would probably be the infamous LS1 or truck 5.3 or 6.0. I grew up in my dad's body shop, a corvette resto shop, & a street rod shop, then I went to UA (ROLLLLLLL TIDE!!) for my mechanical engineering degree because my dad wouldn't let me carry on his trade. Probably a wise choice, but I've always got that to fall back on.
