It sucks. You can get the maxx trailer package in a 1500 but has to be extended cab or crew. I wish you could get a HD rcsb but not.

P.S. according to Toyota you can't get the 5.7 in RCSB either.

This is Hillarious!! I see this article on the MSN homepage this morning that reads "GM bets on trucks for its future".

GM to update pickups, betting on a sales revival – MSN Money

    Good luck with that GM!!

I think GM has lost some of it's vision. i remember when the 454ss came out and people jumped all over those. Sure the vette has always been a staple for GM but most people cant afford one. The new camaro was the first vehicle with some "WOW" factor to it. Gm worked with Joe Gibbs to make some what of a fun vehicle but i don't se a whole lot more than that. I see Ford working with businesses like Saleen, Roush and Steeda to add some fun to their rides. Heck even their own SVT department. I mean they even do it on some of their V6 rides. Sure it seems silly to us but to that 16 year old kid who's parents dont have 30 grand to dump on a new ride, its awesome. I just think GM misses the boat alot of times and Ford still has stayed on track. Heck dodge does a good job with it. They played that hemi card so hard when they came out and the average Joe played right into it. No everyone knows or has the means to build trucks like we have done. You have the average high school kid that knows nothing about motors and offer him a silverado or a hemi dodge and he most likely with take the dodge. Not because it better but just for the reason that stupid dodge says hemi on it. He thinks he is getting some untouchable truck just because of that stupid badge on the side. Gotta give dodge props for building the hype up like they did. GM could have done some really great things and they didnt. Being a service writer for a GMc Pontiac Buick dealership you really get to see some of the crap that GM put out. Not so much on the trucks but their cars. My mom's grandam has had 4 sets of intake gaskets and 3 window regulators and only has 100k on it. The 3.8, 3.1, and 3.4 all had the same problem just to have the same problem again later after they are fixed. I'll step off my soap box now but GM has do some real revamping
    just a tow package

I might one day by a chassis cab with a deisel engine. Slam shorten, regular bed. 4wd for traction. 1000 #lbs of torque with just a tuner and exhaust. Have to build the trans but thats only 10k or so.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.

Yep, they're not available, don't know why, I know they'd sell a crapload of them! Just buy it and swap a 6.2 in.

I know you can get a 6.2 in an extended cab, I even priced out the exact one I want. Any "cool" truck GM builds is priced through the roof. Just got one delivered today a nice little RCSB Canyon 4x4. $35000. WTF.

Also got our first Camaro today too, a 6speed SS. I'm in love.

I know! Them little POS Canyon/Colorados are more expensive than the full size! After I get my truck on the road again I may buy another one just for a DD. Probably an ECSB 4x4 6.2L fully loaded.
