I think typically any longtube, on a pretty much stock LSx engine is good for 15-20rwhp after tuning. I'm not a dyno freak since my truck's a worker. I just wanted to have a more efficient running truck, which I got. It sounds and revs so much "cleaner" now, but I'm still not quite content with my catback choice....soon to change, again...
I thought that too, but have yet to read/hear anything bad about them.
I would too, if I was cammed and better heads, etc...but stock bolt-on 5.3 I think matches perfectly with how they're setup...JMO.
Same here. My yearly pay was 30% lower in 2009, than in 2008, so spending any cash on "wants" instead of "needs" is not done unless I am confident of the end result. So far, so good.![]()
