ok on the swap there are several write ups on this. Personal experience the 80 is a better trans, while it may slow you down out of the hole it shifts faster and firmer and gives you a better trap speed.
I would say do the swap for reliability cause the 60 will go.
Now on the tq bolt question, the 4l80 stock converter has a 6 bolt pattern that uses the 6.0/4l80 flexplate with the spacer and new bolts. I recomend using arp converter bolts cause they are cheap and are a better bolt than the stock converter bolt. You also need to add a vss sensor to the pcm for the output vss sensor on the 4l80 that you 60 did not have. Also you need to re-pin two wires on the main trans harness, and do a segment swap. Don't forget a dipstick, yoke for d.s. and new crossmember.
2004 and later are the better 4l80's from what i understand but i haven't researched that very much.
