when you swap the newer motor in to any vehicle in cali they smog it to the standards of the motor you put in. So my 79 truck will be smogged to 2001 standards.
My manifolds hug the block pretty well too its just the egr port that rubs....gotta find one that doesnt

I did some searching last night and found some pictures of some 99-02? F-body manifolds and they look to have both EGR ports on the top portion of the manifold that would be exaclty what i need to clear the mounts. Now i just need to find a cheap set. Wife is already mad at my budget this month and i still need fuel lines!
use factory truck fuel lines and slighty bend them to fit your truck i did that and it works great i even used the filter holder as well cost me $40 at the junk yardOriginally Posted by Mtrhd329
