    a silverado ss or a 5.3 6 speed auto....

    both ext cabs of course,2wd,i bet that new 5.3 6 spd is faster.if not it put up a good fight

    that's my guess--- the 5.3 was always doggy out of the hole with a 4 speed-- but the six speed seemed to wake it up quite a bit

    With all things being equal like gears and all, Id say that 5.3 is pretty damn close. Maybe even a photo finish (sorry Tyler)

    Also depends on who has fresh air in their drag radials. Wouldn't want to lose all that hp up top because of faulty air
