    DBW pedal

    i have a question i bought a 2007 GMC envoy denali 5.3L LH6 motor, it a GEN 4. im almost done swaping the motor in my 82 c10. i have the DBW pedal that came out of the same vehicle but the pedal is big, when i press the pedal it hits the a/c ducts under the dash. so i was looking at getting a 2003 and up truck DBW pedal. but im not sure if it will work? the gen 4 motors dont use a TAC module like the 03 and up. is the pedal the same? can i use a truck pedal? mine has a 6 pin connector. i have pics if it helps any. if anyone knows please let me know thanks.

    I'm not sure if they are compatible without the TAC, but I can tell you the 2006 and 2007 classic are the only GMT800s that have that same plug on the pedal. The 99-05 have the square plug. You can interchange the 99-05 (duramax, traction control and AWD pre-2003) and 2006 by changing the plug, so I imagine either one would work on your app, but not certain.

    Also it looks like that is a power adjustable one. I bet the nonadjustable GMT800 and GMT900 pedals are the same.

    i want to make sure the 07 calssic silvy are the same before i buy one.

    OK, I just saw where you said it was from a Envoy. Let me look at some manuals.
