OK so i need bigger injectors.... how can i make LS3/LS7 injectors (gm # 12576341) work on a 5.3 intake? i already have the injector adapters. do i need to make spacers for fuel rail?

I used washers and a longer bolt for my 60#ers. Either stack the washers in your hand and make sure its the right height, and tape them with a piece of tape, or use a little glue. They make machined spacers. But they are pricey. Washers look fine on mine. But dont run them without some form of spacer. The injectors can pop out and catch the truck on fire.

Get the flex fuel rails too, supposedley they flow as good as most aftermarket. There the rectangular ones if your j-yard hunting. Or I can sell you mine for $10 000

well i found a 08 tahoe at a local yard.... has everything on motor, even thought bout pulling the heads. just how the truck was hit i dont know if theres any cracks on the block, bc the water pump was in half.
anyway i thought bout pulling the rail and injectors, but arent they returnless? just want to know if the injectors will fit on my lm7 motor, bc if so ima pick them up tomorrow and i'm gettung my truck retuned that afternoon.....![]()

If Im not mistaken the newer heads on the 5.3's are 799s i think. If the deal is reasonable, I would take them too.
