    15's will fit--but as Casey has proved, the wheel has to use spacers to get the wheel farther away from the hub. The wheel is tapered, and the farther away from the caliper, the smaller diameter wheel you can use.

    ok i guess ill just order them and try em before i mount the tires and if they dont fit ill find some lighter than stock 16's

    What we're trying to say is all you need is SPACERS... They're normally made of billet and can be bough for under 100 bucks.

    i gotchya. should i get just spacers or adapters. adapters being thicker with studs built into them vs spacers with just holes that use the existing studs

    Adapters will push them out up to an inch. Thats what I run on my 69. Spacers will require longer studs.

    if i get the adapters should i get rims with an extra inch of backspacing?
