Yeah it ran alot better for me, it got rid of all the pinging i was getting. It will show you how much the 99 PCMs suck no matter how you thought your truck was running then. Wait till it builds up!

I'm guessing this would be a good mod for me to consider? My 99 pcm pings like no other.
Yeah switching over is worth it. Basically on the building up, the tune gets even better as you drive and put mileage on it. It adapts to your driving style and will map its tables out accordingly. It's just one of those unexplainable things about how it works. Mine usually get better up until 500 miles or so.
