    Water Leak Ggrrrrrrrr!!!! (pics)

so i've had this leak for a very long time. i did not know it was a leak though. when i bought the truck i noticed when it would snow my floor board on the driver side would get wet. well i pick up the mat and found a small hole in it. so i thought the snow was melting from shoes and going onto the floor. so i bought new mats and forgot about it. that was 2-3 years ago. well i recently went to do some work under the dash (it was after a big rain) and found the floor board was wet. so while the trans is out i decide to take some stuff apart. i pulled up the carpet and dried it all up. while the carpet was up it rained big time and i opened the door the next day and found a puddle in my floor board. i have ran water over every thing and can't get it to leak. i checked the moon roof and the moon roof drain line. i checked the windshield, the cowl, and other odd ball seals. there is a cavity behind the kick panel that is filling with water. i took a pic of it. what do you guys think?

this is where the water is coming into. how i don't know but it is.

the hole above this pic is behind this panel which is behind the kick panel

this is a better view of where the cavity is located

this is the rust that coming from all this. i'm thinking of a wire wheel and some POR15. the following pics are just more of the rust.

Had/have the same thing happening to me. The way Im getting a leak is from my worn door trim which probably isnt your exact problem but Id definitely look into getting your door molding checked. Try stuffin a rag under there temporarily if you have to...

my door pins are good. the corrosion might be under warranty but they would charge me to fix the leak.
