    ok rear end first it is.

    with the 3.23's & 60 i rev 1545 and 4.10's would be 1961. how much would that bring my mpg down? 416 rpm diff

    higher rpms, but less of a load. You might lose 2mpg tops but prolly gain .5 or more in 1/4...well worth it
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    It will likely Help mileage. You figure your motor is doing less work to get your truck up to speed.

    yeah city driving rpm wise it barely turns but its more load on the engine than it needs to be so i get like 14/23mpg and 90% of my fuel is used in the city and 90% of the miles put on it are on the hiway

    or no named gear and posi $498
    GM CHEVY 8.6 4.10 RING & PINION POSI 4.11 GEAR PACKAGE


    and is 300-325 an average install price?

    going from a 3.23 to a 4.10 is more then a 400 rpm change sir...... about double that !!... you have a 29" tire?....

    at 60mph it should be 400..according to randy's ring and pinon calculator
