Ok as most of you know i blew out my first g80 unit! Well i got another stock unit as a quick cheap fix till after the hollidays when i have more money to play with. Well the guy at the shop called me and he found a small chip on the ring gear. He said where its at it shoudlnt hurt anything but is one of those things where it might last 10yrs or a few weeks. We decided to try it with the current r&p and to come back in 4-6weeks and pull the cover and check again. Once i get my k10 back together wich should be in about two weeks ill start driving it daily again and ill only drive the yukon when needed! Once the hollidays are over and everything settles down im going to start ordering all my parts gears true trac ect. Ill prob stick with 3.73s just because we go on trips alot and the hwy mileage is great. On top of it the wifes job is kinda in the air now so she is goin back to school in december so things will be tight!

I will have my new transmission here for my k10 mid next week so once i get it in ill start dd it and order all my parts for the yukon. Ive gotta drop the yukon off monday to get the rear 1/4 fixed where my mother in law hit it!
