    make a plan, then learn to SCAN first... you must know how the scanner works in order to tune... my bit of advice.. I spend more time in the scanner than I do actually editing tables... and always save backups.

    Exactly. READ READ READ. I have Greg's books and DVD. Big help, but still have a lot to learn.
    First you need to understand how everything in the engine is related and what each sensor's purpose is and an idea of how they work.
