Something like mine, 220/222 .580/.580. Pretty standard, a lot of guys on here have cams pretty close to that. Not too radical, but enough of a gain to make it worthwhile

before you guys cam and do all this to your 4.8 why don't you just build a 6.0 to swap? i mean i have a 4.8 and it's basically stock for now since i just got it but i'm deciding now if i want to turbo it. if i do. ill keep the 4.8. if not ill build the 6.0 because the STS kit is like 5K bros! you can build a 6.0 and even have it installed for you for less than that!

Say what you will but I enjoy making over 500ft/lbs of torque at the wheels and still averaging 20mpg on the highway with my lil' 4.8L. As far as a cam, I would go with 581/581 220/220 - 115 (the MTI stealth cam I think). It's a good overall cam and is forced induction friendly if you choose to charge your engine.

daily driving is all in how well the tune is setup. you can make just about anything tame with enough time into it.

now as for mpg that depends on how you drive and how much right foot you use.

as for cam that depends on what direction of build you want. Gears, stall, exhaust, intake all play role

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
