    gears

alright my setup is in my sig. i want to get a more stout gear. its a DD and also sees alot of strip action. i want to wake up the 4.8 more. the t56 needs something more stout behind it. Also i want to upgrade to a locker at the same time. should i worry about axles as well? Another thing i need to upgrade before i spray more is my fuel pump. anyone have a part # for the 255? Suggestions and opinions on brands of lockers.

Detroit for a locker or Eaton for a posi. If you put slicks on the track might want you to put in C clip eliminators, but otherwise the stock 30 spline axles should hold up fine

i run a 305/50/20 everyday. i have yet to buy a set of track wheels. open to suggestions on size for that as well. i dont want to run a slick. i was thinking DR. the track is 45 min from me and well i see waay more action on a friday night right around the corner and around town. was thinkin a mickey thompson tire on a stock 16" rim. We have many barren roads out in the woods that we go to race. hooking on a street tire never happens. guys that run a DR seem to do well. just my thinking. Suggestions?

4.88s will get that turd 4.8 with too big of a cam rollin pretty nicely. with a 6 speed and those big tires you wont turn much rpm down the hiway

Don't pick your gears using the 6th gear as your guide, too steep and your first gear will become almost useless
