this should work.me and my buddy used this under his metal roof on his farm house just above the 3 bedrooms no when it rains you cant even hear the rain tingin of the metal.much easier to sleep.he had a metal roof before and hated when it rained.i know owens corning didnt have ashphalt or grit on it but i live in ohio,and the weather up hear sucks so their may be a different product design for your region.
