Wow I found my new favourite

Ok so I've been looking for a decent little car for a DD, and I've grown tired of trucks a little bit. I've been looking at European stuff, older Audi's and what not, I want an AWD turbo'd sedan. Well today I had a Saab 9-3 come through for snow tires, thought it was a nice little car, got in seen the boost guage, even better. Now I have a nice little road I use for road tests, I got plenty of room to wind them out. Anyway this little Saab was an absolute blast to drive, turbo 2.8 6speed it did not stop pulling, I let out at 200 km/h (about 120mph) and it had a lot more in it. Best part was it was butter smooth, I honestly don't think I've been impressed by any car as much as I was from this thing. Wasn't the fastest or prettiest but it was just pure fun.

    You're thinking of the 9-2X.

    Unhappy

Sweet deal man. Why not get a WRX STi tho? If you have never driven one you need to. They are a blast to drive. I haven't gotten to drive one of the new hatch's yet but I drove a buddies '06 and it was awesome! If I were ever going to buy anything non-American and non-truck it would be a new STi for sure.

Sounds like a 9-3. No doubt it felt fast--a turboed 2.8L V6 does move out well. Plus Saab does some great things with turbos and has great low-end power. Best thing about that car--you can tune it with HPT...just as long as it isn't a Turbo-X model.
