Make sure to get your grease gun out, find the grease zerk, and fill it back up. Make sure to clean where the grease has thrown itself on the undercarriage so that in a few days you can crawl under there to see if the problem still exists.
i thought of that already, but i looked and felt for the zerk, and couldnt find it. maybe i dont have a greaseable u joint??

GM joints don't have grease fittings and the ones that do are not worth buying. The grease never gets to all for points of the cross AND the hollow design makes them weaker.
