    gear question

    i have a 05 4x4 4l60e with 3.42s, does anyone know what a set of 4.10 would put the rpms at 70mph cause gotta drive it everyday on the highway... but still like to play around on the weekends with it

    What size tires?

    rite now its still stock rims with 265/70/17 but want a set of 20 for it soon... If makes a diff has a 220/220 581 lift 113lsa cam and a 3200 stall... but rite now i do drive iton the highway alot but on weekends go out and play with ppl that wouldnt see a truck run that good.... Got vid of me running what thought was an 09 but got told it was a 10 camaro check it out in the racers lounge

    Yup. At 70 mph--2300-2400ish. 3.23s are a highway gear and stupid for a 4WD truck, IMHO. I would go with AT LEAST 3.73 gears. But remember--the cost of doing a gear swap will double since you have to do BOTH axles. If you do end up doing a gear swap, make sure you get the gears you want cause you do not wanna pay the $$$$ to do a gear swap a 2nd time....

    what rpm were you turning with those 4.88s chris? I'm thinkin bout 4.56 for my 34's
