If no shift indicator OR mileage, then it might be a cluster issue. Try replacing the cluster or have the dealer reprogram it for you. The shift indicator is a part of the wiring harness associated with the 'Prindle switch' on the driver's side of the transmission. If the wiring harness is fine and the cluster is reprogrammed and the issue still exists, then just replace the Prindle Switch. When removing the wires, make sure to heat up the wiring harness plugs with a lighter for about 10 seconds before trying to pull it out. The connectors come from the factory with this sticky sealant stuff that is like glue when it is cold...
