    thats the only reason i would justify takin out some weight is if i had a race against someone that i needed to win and couldnt just make some more power! haha

    Ditch the 4.8 for an aluminum 6.0 and you will gain power while losing weight.

    to me it seems that weight distribution is more vital than total weight reduction. Losing weight is a great thing, but taking it from the rear of the truck may be more detrimental for getting any traction. Just my opinion.....
