What experiences do you guys have by getting rid of your cats. I got a guy who will cut out my cats and weld in a "test pipe". Seems like a good idea since my turbo is "post" cats. I assume I'll need to do something with the PCM, but what? Allen, let me know what you think. Is it worth the time and $$$.

I canned mine, you wont lose any power from doing it, if I have lost any low end from the Z06 cam and no cats, Allen made up for it with the tune! I didnt have any pinging either, some say it will cause that but all my pinging went away when I switched back to a screened MAF.

It'll be stinky and can discolor chrome tips if you have them.

With a turbo you'll certainly lower EGTs and decrease lag.
