ran 2 gauge from alt to + on battery, and the ground on the alt to the - on the battery.

Did not help AT ALL. My electric fans still drop the gauge to around 10 volts for 5-6 seconds, and it bounces between 12-14 with beats of my subs (running 2 10" kenwoods with a 750 watt profile amp, shouldn't pull THAT much)

I don't see where the ground cable goes to the frame...only cable I see is the thin braided strap bolted to the firewall.
