+1 Ive had a hypercrap and superchips and now run custom tunes on everything. If you want an example when my truck was stock it went 15.8. With a hypercrap it went 15.7 with a loss of 2mph, with a superchips went 15.8 with 3mph gain. I had a custom tune done and picked up 7 thenths to make it go 15.1. Gained all that with just a tune.

A good free flowing exhaust. Really no need to get mad wires unless you just want to spend the money. You can make your own cai. And of course the tb coolant bypass is a good free mod to help keep iat's down. Do some searching before you start buyin mods. You'll save yourself alot of money and self asskickings in the future
How do you do this? I've never heard anyone say anything about this before...

I meant the throttle body. My mistake.

Basically remove the coolant line from the throttle body and you can either use the one piece coming from the passenger side to hook it up directly to the piece down by the frame on the driver side, or you can get a piece of brake line and just connect the two with hose clamps.

Looks like nelson is the way I'm going and with free upgrades for small modifications, why do anything else.
already talked to them and cant wait to get it.

    thanks

go out and look at the bottom of your tb...there will be a hose running from your radiator to the tb and a line running out...pull each of them off the tb get you a barbed fitting from the parts store and a couple hose clamps and splice them together and VIOLA

the main reason for the gas milage difference is the truck should come with 4.10 gears stock, and he has bigger tires making him go farther for every revolution of the motor. you're tires are about 30" tall compared to his 33" tires and with the gears as low as they are, the truck is not under a load with the bigger tires.

dude if you are going to stupidly say that 30" tires will get better gas milage than 33's with 4.10 gears then you have obviously never had a 4x4 with stock tires and put in a set of gears and then put larger tires on to bring gas milage back close to stock. if you still don't believe that, then put the smallest tire you can find on the rear of your truck with the same gears you are running, and tell me if you're gas milage increases. and of course it will only decrease with the smaller tire. so to you, for each there own if you can't understand how gears vs. tire size affect fuel milage.
