Sizing of internals

I can't say I know what size crank, rods and pistons equal how many cubic inches are in an engine.

Well, as far as I know, there are only 2 measurements that compose the C.I. of a motor...bore and stroke.

Using a 5.3L motor:
To find the Liters of displacement from C.I., divide C.I. by 61.0237.
EX: 325 / 61 = 5.3

To find C.I. from a motor's bore and stroke, take the bore squared, multiply the stroke, multiply that by 0.7854, then multiply that by the number of cylinders.
EX: (3.779x3.779) x 3.622 x .7854 x 8 = 324.9999 ~ 325.
