Need to understand your issue better.
OK there is a wire coming from the harness that is tagged TCC apprently it goes to into the cab is it like a lockup converter thing >??? i have a 4l60e im thinking it hooks to the brake pedal ????
On the brake pedal switch wiring harness there is a lead that has power when your foot is not on the brake and has no power when you press the brake pedal. That is where you need to hook up the TCC power lead.

OK so splicing the wire that has power with the foot off is what i will do with the TCC power lead !!!
ok for those that are doing 4.8 -5.3 -6.0 conversions in early GM trucks i used a camaro / transam brake light switch out of a 96 model, autozone part #DR-461 for both the brake light switch and TCC it WORKED like a charm, im out to find a the correct block till then ive used terminals
