28x11.50 bias plies on a 7 inch wide wheel?

I have some 28x11.50 bias ply mickeys for the strip and I noticed that the widest 16 inch OE silverado wheel was 7 inches...the aluminum star looking ones from 2001 or so models.....is a 7inch wide wheel too narrow for an 11.5inch wide tire? I'm just worried about it crowning and not being able to have all of the contact patch used.....what do you guys think?

Go for it..there was a set exactly like your describing for sale on here a while back and they looked fine. I run a 10" wide on my stockers and have no problems, but all in all they should be fine.

Not sure many here run the bias ply so rim differences need to be apples to apples.
