    Question Dry Ice?

Well with me being in Florida in never gets cold and waiting in line at the strip my IAT's get upwards of 140* and I can actually feel the power loss... Well my dad and I were talking and we thought about packing dry ice around my filter to reduce IAT's
Has anybody done this? Do u think it will work?

it might not be good for the engine to breathe in the CO2 from the dry ice either. thats very rich CO2. the atmosphere only contains like .04%

Don't do it lol that crap will mess u up if you touch it. It's so cold it would make plastic and metal way way to brittle IMO

Chad don't do it. Like Taylor said it makes things uber brittle. What you can do with dry ice...take a 2 liter bottle fill it about 1/2 way with water and put a small piece of dry ice...I mean like 1"-2" long and big enough to fit in the opening in the bottle...and drop it in the bottle, screw the cap on tight and step back. They make for a pretty good bang.

You think that's bad?????? Try coming to AZ where the outside air during the summer is over 110 just about every day and even gets as high as 120. Add that to your underhood temps and you get temps of like 160's-180's. . Driving in am Arizona summer blows man.

Big difference. Arizona has a dry heat. Try coming to TX, Oklahoma, or Florida. And by Oklahoma, I mean where we live... 3rd largest man made lake in the world.

    exactly, 100* w/ 0% humidity feels way better than 100* w/ 80% humidity.
