    Header gaskets

    Would yall re-use header gaskets with 250K on them? I got my LT's but need yalls advice on this since people say their re usable.

    What kind of headers did you get? headers usually come with gaskets
    01 ecsb 5.3 4x4 z71
    Avalanche 17s and a pant load of miles

    61 Corvette
    350, 4 speed, 4.56's

    32 Ford 4 door sedan
    keeping it "stockish"

    they're cheap enough, use new oem gaskets.

    I got the bolts, just need gaskets and y pipe, thanks yall

    haha be sure to post up what bolt breaks off in the head when you take them off......im pretty sure somone is keeping stats on that stuff

    never had a bolt break in lsx heads. maybe i'm just lucky though. but yes, definitely use oem gaskets, i have never had a leak at the head with my used ones but it could start tomorrow now that i said that.

    I've seen several that broke without being touched. Usually it's the far rearward bolt on the LH side. 6.0's are a lot worse (more common).
