4.3 to LT1

hi, i was wondering what all is involved in this swap, i have a 94 F/S chevy. Is it the same kind of swap as the LS1? Changes to my stock fuel system? Will my stock guages still work? Is there any problem will A/C compressor clearence like the LS1? I aprreciate any help.

not sure if you're ever on fsc....but GMC350SS over there bought my lt1 from me...he did it the hard way in his 96(lt1 was a m6 motor going to his TRUCK 4l60e...yes they're different). Your 94 may be a bit different.

As far as mounting...it is actually easier than the ls1, itll bolt right in. Your not a vortec truck so you may need a better fuel pump and regulator(needs to hold a consistant 45+psi). your gauges will work, just wiring them up would be tedious, like any other swap. Yes there is the exact same problem with the a/c in lt1's than ls1's. there are a few options there though.

1. A/C Delete pulley(most use this unless they got some money for 2, 3, or 4
2. Zoops Acc
3. March Perf Pulleys
4. Corvette Accessories

2, 3, & 4 all around $1000 which will put you around the cost of an ls1
