Mines been acting like for the last 30k miles, also slipped at green lights after a highway run. I finally installed a rebuilt (with mods) and problem solved. This started at about 90k for me. What's the milage on your truck?

I would do a COMPLETE flush of the tranny, lines, and cooler (if equipped).

So your line was pinched and there was a hole in it? Not completely sure if JB Weld will hold. I wouldn't put any bets on it. I would definitely look into replacing the lines!

Well, the tranny cooler lines go into the radiator. No real need to buy a new one. If you get the 34" radiator, you are gunna need to get the correct hoses for a Suburban and bend the cooler lines to reach it.
If you add the 40k cooler (which is an excellent idea), make sure to sure the proper clamps and cooler line extensions to meet with the existing cooler lines.
