For motor mounts I'm just using the factory ones with the adapter plates. Transgo has them and other companies. They run about 50-70 bucks. I have access to a plasma cam so I'm just cutting out my own. As for headers I decided to cut the back of the inner fenders out and am just going to make my own that run over the frame and to the outside of the frame rails

    Motor Mounts

I have used the stock mounts, It fits just fine but, the headers/manifold mounting is an issue. I dont have the knowledge or talent to make my own headers or mounts so right now I am trying to adjust the stock mounts. All the mounts I have seen require you to slice the frame some, I really hate doing that, but I guess if I have to, I will. I have everything already done except thsi part. Arrrrrgggg, I hate this.

The stock truck manifolds wont work?? My buddy used his and the motor mounts from Tansdapt and it fits perfectly.. Which ones are you using?

As for my build I got my engine all balanced and shortblocked so far, worked over the oil pump, cam and double roller timing set dialed in. Now to find an F body pan and finish porting the heads.

Heres a peek at a 427 from the shop that just went to the dyno

All thats left now is to bolt on the timing cover and accessories. Got the dash, pedal assembly removed, steering column removed and started repairing some rust holes in the cab floor. Next is to put in the Auto steering column and finish putting the power brake assembly on.

    64 c10 swap

Well, I tried the 98-99 Fbody manifolds, the stock manifolds and headers, all with the stock mounts, the CPP mounts, now I am getting the POL perches with mounts, we will see.

Do those f body manifolds have a collector at the rear or in the middle like the truck ones? Those perches look like they move the engine up a bit so that might make the difference right there..

They have the collector in the rear. I have a set, but cant use them, you want them?
