    t-56 trans

    i tried to do a search but couldnt find anything. im interested in putting a t-56 6 speed in the truck in my sig.
    any info on the swap?

    well taking into factor that you have a 5.3 you do not currently have a manual trans so if thats the case you would have quite a bit of work to convert everything from auto to 6 speed.

    T56 makes for a fun toy, if you want speed out of truck stick with auto. The added weight of truck actually hurts the performance for shifting the trans. its an easy swap

    I'm sure there would be a way to make it possible, but if I was planning on doing the swap to a T-56 I was going to get rid of the 4WD.
