    I guess I should have added "unless you have A LOT of funny gas...."

    But honestly it takes less to make more power with a larger motor, not including any spray!

    That's really what i was asking i guess... whether or not the blocks were the same. And i thought the 5.7's had 3.89" bores? I'll stick with the younger brother until he gets some more miles and then go to the 6.0

    Stock bore is 3.898 I believe. When boring out the 5.3, the bore can range from 3.898 to 3.905.
