The LS1 fans do not cover the full opening on the 28" radiator. Build a better shroud when installing these fans. In this 100+ deg heat at idle I have not had the truck go above the 185 that Allen has programmed mine for. Once you get moving you will be using the incoming air flow to cool things down. Those sellers put that disclaimer as I am sure someone put a fan behind a "Hot/Highly Tuned Engine" and probably not able to keep up. But for the mods most people are doing here the fans keep up very well. Do a search on helper fans and you can see who has added more flow and who has had problems.
Hehe, yep. I used to have an old Chevy celebrity with e-fans. The fans crapped out for some reason or another, but as long as I stayed moving, the car would stay cool. Once I stopped at a light, the car would overheat.

I have a set of FLex-A-Lite Fans for sale. Posted up in the for sale section. I will drop price further if needed to get rid of these. They are used, but the motors are both completely brand new and un-used. Good thing about these is that they are a direct drop in place fans setup. No making better shrouds to fit. I have the original flex-a-lite controller to go with it and all wiring and instructions.

These are the model 292 fans that fit the 28" radiator.
