I love that I get 22.5 MPG driving from Kansas to Oregon. However, those days will soon be over and with my 33" Nittos I would like to upgrade to 3.73s. Can anyone recommend a good company to buy from and what all I would need to make it work. Finally, are those high speed diff covers worth the 400 bucks. What are they good for?

3.42-3.73 isn't a big enough step up (been there, done that)
covers are meant to keep fluid a lil cooler/ keep you from busting them open on rocks. If you dont rock-crawl, save the money (unless you're just going for looks)
I always fill my rears with lucas 80-90...have never had a problem.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
4.10 FTW with 33's.
if you decide to go with 373s i have a stock set with 13,000 miles on them from my 2003 z71 front and rear.

i agree. go 4.10's i swapped from 3.42 to 3.73 its better but just isn't enough. and thats in a 2wd with stock 30.5" tires...

I just bought new gears for my truck and went with 4:10s from richmond gears!!!! plus i got me a Corvette servo...puttin them in this weekend!!!!! Go big or go home!!!!!
