    well im not doin this any more im just gonna go back with the vortec motor.......

    What happened that you are unable to do it?

    well i tore into the block and found the number 7 cylinder had alot of rust in it. and also i thought i was gonna be able to bolt the LT-1 heads on the Vortec block but the water jackets dont match. I started a new thred in the V8 swap section.

    bummer, if you can, try to get a 4.8. ppl pretty much throw those away.

    lt1 uses a very unique cooling system.
