    I'm pissed off right now...
My truck has a bunch of problems and the new chevys and gmcs are going for the same price I bought mine for 2 months ago!
I have a leak on the passenger side, don't know if it's the a/c or the firewall because of all this rain. The passenger side door lock locks when you try to open it. Sometimes when going from Park to Reverse it does Nothing. The paint is coming off the dash in some places, there are multiple scratches that were covered up by the devership including one that is about 1/4 an inch deep into the material of the bed on the very end. and the Rear Bumper is cracked... Probably other problems I don't even know about too... Not to mention there are places on the tailgate where the paint is chipping and some where just the clear coat is chipping...

actually bud8fan if your referring to deals of a lifetime (employee discount for everyone), according to our family salesman that pulled me a deal on my 99. The employee discount isn't as great as it seems. According to him, with the $4000 cash back they were offering on top of the other discounts 90% of the people qualify for, they actually save more money (about $1000) going with the other discount rather than the employee one.

Wanna get a good discount? prove your a farmer as a profession and its your only income. When we bought our 04 2500HD with the 8.1L and 4.10 gears all around with the allison trans, we traded in our 95 2500 and got $9G's out of it and only had $18,000 to pay off. And the 1 mile on the truck when we bought it was parking it in different locations throughout the dealership.

Oh and c.nash, if your bumper is the same as a fleetside one (not sure on differences) i'd be glad to sell you mine for like $50+shipping. Has 2 gouge type things on the rubber by the ballpoint hitch area, but other than that its flawless.

I like the truck overall, but to fix it and do what I want to it, it's going to be a pain in the ass, It just pisses me off that the dealer sells trucks in this shape and then has a discount and sells brand new trucks for the same prices.

Yeah, I was in the same boat... I paid $19,300 for my '02 with 26k on the odometer back in march, and I kept seeing CC models advertised on tv for like $25,000. Man, I was mad. But then I realized that price did not include the $3000-$4000 tax, tag, and title fees around here, and my $19,300 was OTD. So, if you want to look at it that way, I got the '02 for ~$16,000 plus the ttt fees.

My truck is a 2001 with 29,000 miles. I bought it for 13,090 with tax tag and title. Trucks with the employee discount are going for about the same without tax tag and title, but still it's a 4-5 year difference...
