tach wire question?

where is the tach wire located on the 99 ls1 engine Thanks Timmy

Should be the white wire on the red output plug on the computer. I belive it's pin #10 on the red plug.

yea i have the pinout but my wire is cut for some reason i guess an accident but i have to find where on the engine it connects to thatnks vortech

stockcarkid3, it doesn't connect to the engine at all. The tach output comes directly from the computer and is a white wire that goes from the harness into the interior of the car and hooks to the cluster. Hope this helps.
