Thread: th400 or 4l80e

    truck has a 60 in it now i thought of rebuilding the 80e and keeping it for backup for my 2500hd that seems to slip a little from take off. i know the th400 will bolt up just wondering if it will work with dbw

    I dont see why not. I could be wrong though. It runs on vac. You would need to turn off all the trans stuff in HP tuners.

    400 probably has better gearing in it. Awesome tranny for the 1/4
