    243 and 317 are same,
    317's just have bigger combustion chamber for lower compression

    I thought they were the same, but wasnt positive. So the bore size isnt an issue, since these heads came from a 6.0? I thought the LQ4 had larger valves than the 4.8

    BUMP for some good heads

    if u put 317 on a 4.8 (like i am ) u will have about 8.5:1 compression which is no good especially N/A

    It will be a good idea when I turbo this thing tho. But yeah this engine already has somewhat low compression anyways, compared to the other LS engines. I think mine is only 9.1:1, not sure but I think thats what it is

    The 6.0 does have bigger valves than the mini 4.8 and the medium sized 5.3 but that doesn't mean the heads are different (other than the seats)
