Who's gonna be the first to get one of these in their truck so we can get this site going?

LS1Truck.com will have a new makeover soon, it's in the process, soon after that I'd like to get LS2Truck.com up, but looks like it might have to be a while.

Anyone have any plans on doing this swap?

    later,

hey allen, I'll let you do the swap in my truck as a test, I'll put as many advertisement stickers on as you want! Those add hp right!? lol

Seriously though, if you ever pull the cam in your gto let me know, I will be one of the first 5.3's so have an LS2 cam.

well, once the 85 Fbody LS7 is complete (soon as the engine is released through GMPP), the LS2 project will probably start on my 99.

Plan on going all forged internal, new fuel system, and a 250shot with a Strange Engineering 12bolt...i'll post updates as progress moves, but im not expecting the LS2 for the truck until around december when the truck goes in the shop for the winter makeover

By the time I plan on swapping it will probably be pretty easy to do a LS2 swap, because there will be info and tunes and crap, so I will probably end up with a LS2 in my truck. =)

I Want to Do that Swap when I get Back from Iraq, I will have the $$, but That Engine don't sound too Boost Freindly, So I guess I might go with a g00d old 6.0 out of a 3/4 ton truck till I know more.

I really want a LS7, but would also be verry happy with a 408 but think it will be a LQ9. Is the LS2 a 6.0? I'm thinking its is, I may try it next year.
