    Damn man that's right down the sreet from me! Well it's a few miles but still. Hmmmm maybe once the 5.3 gets blown up I can re build it and punch it out to a383 and throw it in that bad boy.

    FWIW we took in a clean '81 2500 crew cab with a swapped in Vortec 454. Very nice for what it is. This is not a for sale post because I know the rules. If I have time I will take some pics and post them.

    yeah those old crew cabs from that vintage always seem to be dumps or stake beds. A buildup of a '76 or '77 crew cab with a standard truck bed would be interesting. Kind of like a Suburban with the roof off. Oh man, now Im really missing my old '76 Blazer
